What is 1 + 1?
For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.

To be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.

God's Plan For My Career
Submitted By:Seth McAdams
Prayer Request:I’m finishing my senior year of my undergrad in Business and Bible/theology. I will need to be applying for career jobs, and I would like the Lord to open an incredible door for me. I need direction. Please pray that God will reveal with absolute clarity my God-given calling, purpose, vocation and destiny. Pray for a career direction where I can serve the Lord, where I will bear a lot of fruit, and fully grow into all my spiritual gifts, and develop all my natural skills and talents. Pray for a career that will be character-building for me, that will help me fulfill God’s purpose for my life. Also, I need to move out of Portland. I want to live in a region where when I get married and raise a family, it would be a safe place for my children to stay committed to the Lord, and where there are excellent schools. I also want to live in a region where there is a Bible-believing Christian community that is in real, ongoing revival. Nothing is too much to ask for in prayer, so thank you for praying with me.

Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one’s weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.

The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
