MINISTER JOYCELYN FLETCHER
NATIONAL WOMEN’S DIRECTOR
Joyce Fletcher was appointed as the National Women Ministry Director Church of God of Prophecy UK in October 2009 and National Family Ministries Director in 2013; bringing synergies together with National Men, Women, Youth and Children and Senior Ministries.
She is a woman of faith and an innovator and believes that God has directed her to fulfilling her purpose, strategic assignments and potential in all aspects of her life.
Joyce is vibrant and fun loving, with a good sense of humour, taking a holistic body, mind, and spirit view of life. Her personal motto is: ‘If at first you don’t succeed try, try and try again.’ She attributes much of her strengths of tenacity and resilience firstly to God; who has given her the mind to pursue excellence; and to her late father Mr Ernest Anderson who died in July 2007.
Joyce is married to Neville with 4 children between the ages of 21- 11 years. Her husband has been a Pastor for over 17 years and she supports him avidly in fulfilling his pastoral role and ministry.
Joyce is a minister of the word; she has a passion for evangelism and sharing the love of God through both action and deeds. She has served in various church leadership and support roles over the years, ranging from Women Ministries, Regional Family ministries, Christian education and Youth Ministries. She has been willing to serve in whatever capacity there has been a need.
Joyce has worked in the National Health Service for over 30 years and has 25 years experience working in mental health services. She currently works as Deputy Director of Nursing within a NHS Foundation Trust .
She is a founding member and vice chair of a local voluntary organisation providing mental health outreach services to BME communities and member of various committees related to the wider social action agendas. She is also a Parent Governor within her child’s local school and wishes to encourage more parents, and women to put themselves forward to influence the strategic planning within our UK school system.
