REFUND POLICY AND CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION

The conference contract

The following terms and conditions (the ‘registration conditions’) will apply to your registration.  The person who signs the registration form will be accepting the registration conditions on behalf of the group.  The contract between you and the Church of God of Prophecy UK (COGOP UK) will come into existence either (i) when we accept your registration form and registration payment by issuing written confirmation of your reservation or (ii) when we advise you verbally on the telephone, or online via the internet that your reservation is confirmed.

The contract binds you and everyone named on your registration form. It is your responsibility to ensure that all persons named accept the terms of contract set out in these terms and condition of registration.  Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contact and loss of registration.

If you cancel your registration

Once we have received your application form the places are confirmed.  The registration fee is non refundable but transferable. Should you wish to cancel/transfer your registration please call the Church of God of Prophecy Corporate Administrative Office on 0121 358 8604 before July 1, 2017 and we will advise you on the documentation we require to process your cancellation.  Your cancellation must also be notified to us in writing.  The written notification should be sent to us by recorded delivery, as your cancellation will not take effect until we received the written confirmation.  If we do not receive written confirmation of your cancellation by July 1, 2017 no changes will be approved in any circumstances.

If we cancel the event

We will endeavour not to change the date or cancel the event, but in exceptional circumstances it may be necessary.  We will inform you of the change in date or cancellation as soon as possible and give you the options listed below.

  • Accept the alternative arrangements as notified to you
  • Cancel your reservation with a full refund for any money you have paid

Limitations of Liability

We accept responsibility for those arrangements of Convocation 2017 that are within our control, but we cannot accept liability for any injury, loss or damage suffered by you or any other member of your party, unless one of the follow applies:

  • There was wilful default by us, our employees or agents; or
  • Death or personal injury was caused by the negligence of COGOPUK, or employee or agents

For all claims other than death or personal injury, which result from the non-performance or improper performance of the contract of COGOPUK.  We will pay compensation that is reasonable to all circumstances.  No action can be taken in respect of any complaint not brought to the attention of the Event Manager, Colleen Laing.

Data Protection

The personal information provided by you will be held on a database and will not be shared with any other organisation or company.
