Leadership is among our greatest priority in The Men’s Room. Dr. John Maxwell said, “Everything rises and falls on leadership.” This statement is also worth considering, “The churches greatest asset is people but the people’s greatest need is effective and inspiring leadership.” We need more men who know how to pray and handle the word of God skillfully.
“An effective leader is one who is able to influence, inspire and empower others to unleash their unlimited potential.”
Pastor Errol A Williams
John Maxwell said, “We teach what we know but we reproduce what we are.” Without men, we are unable to meet some of the crisis that the churches are in. We must face the fact that men have been haemorrhaging away from the church for far too long now. Unfortunately, many that are in the church are missing in action.
It has been said that men have a greater influence on their children than their wives, in regards to the value that children place on spiritual things. Our evangelistic approach seek to:
- Discover – know Christ deeply
- Develop – training
- Deploy – evangelism and calling
We encourage all local men’s ministry leaders to be engaged and encourage all men to participate in their local church’s evangelism ministry.
For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety. Pro 24:6.
Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety. Pro11:14.
