We are thankful for the move of God upon our lives and our church in our journey to our current position. We also give God thanks for the leadership and our faithful members who have worked and committed to the advancement of the Kingdom of God through the church, in the past challenging years of economic austerity.

I am persuaded that our current position provides us with excellent opportunities to march forward as a corporate church and seize the promises that God has given to us.  What are the opportunities? I believe that our post-Christian and post-modern society, with all its sophistication, is now more ready for the Gospel of Jesus Christ than ever before. We must therefore collectively turn our eyes outward on the harvest and reposition and realign our efforts and our resources to ensure we proclaim the Gospel and demonstrate its power and practicality through our mission and ministry efforts. Simply put we must become even more united for our purpose than ever before.

We will always achieve more as a compact and focused unit, than when we attempt tasks by ourselves, locally, regionally or even as a corporate body within the United Kingdom. We must continue to identify the synergy that flows from collaborative working at all levels and in all theatres of kingdom work and witness.

10% discount applies to all group registrations of 20+ delegates received in the Corporate Office before June 30th 2017.

Kid’s United for Purpose

We will offer special sessions geared towards children aged between 5 – 11yrs at our local church at the Jubilee Christian Centre, Wolverhampton.  Children will be accepted by application only on a first come, first served basis.

Children will be transported from the Bethel Convention Centre to the Jubilee Christian Centre by coach.  The coach will depart promptly at 9:30am from the Bethel Convention

Dinner Ticket Sales

Meals will be available through the Aberdeen Street Catering team in the canteen throughout the weekend of the convocation.  The cost of the meal tickets will be £7 for adults and £4 for children (13 years and under).   Meal tickets will be on sale at the Registration Desk in the foyer of the convention centre.

Hotel Accommodation

To view a list of hotels near the Bethel Convention Centre, please click on link below.  Please be aware that this year’s convocation is scheduled on a bank holiday weekend; it is therefore important to make reservations early before the summer rates are introduced.

We have hired a coach that will be available for anyone that has made hotel reservations on the High Street in West Bromwich.  The coach service will pick up delegates staying at the Park Inn on Birmingham Road or Premier Inn on the High Street.


Our convocation is a great opportunity to advertise your business.

We are inviting businesses, services and or organisations that embrace health & wellbeing issues, women, men, youth, children, parenting, education & training, beauty & accessory products, community projects, etc to include an advert in our programme.  We will be producing 2,500 programmes for distribution throughout the convocation.  In addition to this we can also include flyers, leaflets or branded promotional merchandise in our delegate packs.

We are looking for people with plenty of energy and keen to serve.  Volunteering at our convocation is a great way of meeting people from all walks of life, make new friends and get involved in something different.

We’re seeking volunteers for the following areas:

Steward/Security Team includes seating people safely, giving out leaflets, supporting the speaking team, helping with registration and many other jobs.  You will need to be flexible and willing to tackle anything and able to spend long hours on your feet.  (NB we may require that you are CRB checked)

Children/Crèche is about children of all ages and getting involved in loads of difference activities such as drama, story telling, crafts, and worship.  You should have a heart for children/teenagers and loads of energy.  (NB we will require that you are CRB checked)

Sales being on the church stand selling resources and answering queries from guests

Hospitality Team taking care and attending to the needs of all our Convocation special guest and or speakers

First Aider attending to the needs of any delegate, guest or staff that might have had an accident or feel unwell.  It is preferable but not absolutely necessary that candidates possess a valid First Aid certificate and or suitable medical experience.

Registration/Information will be engaged in welcoming all delegates to the Convocation, ensuring they are registered, receive their delegates packs and conference pass.
